What’s a party without cake? Last weekend at my friend Laura’s shop was a sprinkle, edible glitter and giggle filled day of cake decorating to celebrate a young lady’s 11th birthday. We started out these with stacked and crumb coated canvases- the guest of honor chose chocolate cake.
So many sprinkles to choose from.
Colored icing carnage ensued.
Afterwards, all the artists posed with their masterpieces.
In two hours time we had eight creative cakes and clearly some budding pastry chefs in the making. The afternoon was a sparkly, sugary success!
